An option available with both Aggressive Collect and Instant Collect is the ability to report your debtor to the major credit bureaus: Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. Selecting the option to report delinquent debt is recommended by our debt collection agency partners in order to maximize the possibility of successful debt collection. Reporting the delinquent debt to the credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) is a serious and aggressive act that should be carefully considered with every account. Once reported after the account has been registered with OldDebts for 60 days (and then on the first of the month), the negative impact upon the debtor may affect them for up to seven years. Often, if the initial contact of the letters does not get their attention, a debtor will contact you months or years later to clear the debt. This option is only available when an account is initially placed with OldDebts.com and cannot be added at a later date.
